KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis on category and competitor performance, leveraging IRI/Nielsen data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Manage and interpret large data sets to develop insights that support category growth strategies and decision-making.
  • Develop tools and frameworks for fact-based decision-making, including performance tracking and reporting.
  • Support the creation of category business plans, including pricing, assortment, and promotional strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external partners, translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing and Sales teams to enhance category performance and customer engagement.
  • Ensure alignment with global and regional effective methodologies to optimize category management strategies.
  • Support the implementation of internal research initiatives to identify market opportunities and enhance data-driven decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • 3 years or more experience in Category Management, preferably in FMCG, with a strong analytical focus.
  • Proficiency in IRI Aztec, Nielsen, and other consumer and shopper insight tools.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint skills for data visualization and reporting.
  • Strong financial knowledge and understanding of P&L metrics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence key partners.
  • A proactive, strong eye for detail with a passion for using data to drive business growth.
