British American Tobacco Italia is looking for a talented and brilliant professional, with a strong passion for the Marketing world, to join the New Categories Brand Team based in Rome.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support in developing and executing brand plans to meet brand objectives and strategies; preparing the engagement programs and cycle plan activities to ensure brand strategies and objectives are effectively evaluated and executed.
  • Promote brand understanding, insights and commitment throughout the organization providing guidelines on marketing activities according to consumers’ journey towards the brands and according to the global guidelines.
  • Develop communication materials, (artwork, packaging, product and communications) and deploy touch point declinations/guidelines to make sure the Brand is rightly conveyed/perceived from consumers.
  • Monitor the implementation and results of operational brand plans and recommend changes to brand programs; reporting and analyzing brand performance in a clear, concise manner with focus on required actions.
  • Ensure correct research is implemented providing stimuli materials and preparing effective research brief with the main objective of answering key business questions and to deliver on the needs of our consumers.
  • Analyze market research and competition’s channel strategy to understand brand issues and market opportunities.
  • Plan and drive operational implementation of key Brand initiatives and guarantees the legal compliancy for each activity to be introduced on the market
  • Plan, track, and report on deployment budget aligned with current planning and reporting structure and manage external agencies to ensure brand campaigns are performed with required quality and agreed cost and timescales to deliver OTIF.

What are we looking for?

  • 3-4 years’ experience in marketing and/or similar roles within an FMCG organization.
  • University Degree in Marketing, Business Management or other related fields of study; Master degree is a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Power Point
  • Awareness of product development, consumer insights, ATL/BTL communication.
  • Analytical, attentive to detail, able to see the big picture
  • Proactive nature and ability to learn fast with multitasking skills and approach
  • Good management and interpersonal skills and exceptional initiative and strong decision-making ability.
  • Fluency in English and Italian languages
