BAT FIJI SUVA IS LOOKING FOR LEGAL AND EXTERNAL AFFAIRS OFFICER
BAT Fiji is seeking to recruit an experienced, dynamic, and passionate individual for the role of Legal & External Affairs Officer (Fixed- Term Contract) role. The role will be assisting with the logistical arrangements, delivering training material, monitoring projects, assist with internal and external events and support the CORA team with records, contracts, and correspondence.
ROLE SUMMARY :
- Assist in logistical arrangements, delivery of training materials and monitoring related to the ESG projects.
- Assisting legal officer with Record Management and Drafting of Legal Letters.
- Planning and monitoring of External and Internal activities and events.
- Lead compilation of CST Documents (CSI checklist) for the CORA Executive.
- Assist with research into projects that benefit communities and with the execution of new strategies for monitoring and evaluating ESG projects.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
- Tertiary qualification in a similar field.
- 1-2 years’ experience in Legal, Corporate Affairs, Engagement or Compliance.
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
- A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality.
- An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
