ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The Engagement Centre is fully dedicated providing world class customer service to our consumers and distributors. We provide multi-channel support and have the best team of people ready to assist them.
Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the correct Electronical Data Interchange (EDI) transmission of orders, delivery notifications and invoices between BAT`s systems and our customers`. You will be monitoring various interfaces, as well as managing Indirect Order Taking (IOT) to contribute to, for example, new product launches with the aim of successfully implementing the BAT distribution and marketing strategy.
You will be the point of contact concerning customer questions and/or complaints regarding EDI, IOT or Invoicing.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Ensuring the seamless exchange of data between our SAP system (regarding orders, invoices, and delivery e.g., EDI INVOIC, ORDERS; DESADV) and other internal or external systems or portals (e.g., Atrify/ REWE/ DTV).
- Monitoring the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes, correcting errors and providing support to ensure continuous and efficient flow of operations (SAP/ ORACLE/ K&N/ Salesforce) including issue solving and/or delegating to responsible Team.
- You will be responsible for all EDI linked tasks or specificities, including manual intervention and carrying out regression tests/UAT using BAT SAP/Salesforce-Testsystems and assuring correct setup with our 3rd Parties.
- Troubleshooting errors as they arise and implementing corrective actions for resolution and prevention.\
- Overseeing the IOT processes, including correct data transmission, setting up new customers (external hosted system) and submission of Salesforce orders (e.g., new launches etc.).
- Collaboration and support on designated projects (primarily internal systems eg. BAT-connect/ PETra etc.).
- Balance confirmations wholesale/ contact person for customer accounting.
- Proficiency in German and an advanced level of English.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP ERP systems and EDI integration.
- Good skills in MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Solution oriented approach and problem-solving skills.
