PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The NPI Specialist will be accountable for supporting the system readiness and operational delivery within the New Product Introduction (NPI) function.
Reports to: NPI Manager
Reporting Level: manages self – no direct reports
Geographic Scope: regionally
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Operational (System Readiness):
- Engagement with internal & external stakeholders to enable smooth code creation up to completion process.
- Provide support to and consult with functional expert teams on explicit requests.
- Monitor the code creation progress until completion to ensure no impact on the business.
- Continue to improve SKU CoE reports and trackers for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide the visibility of system readiness status timely manner to NPI Managers to drive OTIF delivery.
- Support the testing of SAP business releases with regards to Process or Data Changes.
- Evaluate and provide feedback through impact assessments of intended changes.
- Support operational delivery and project management of the end-to-end process within the NPI function.
Project Management:
- Managing a few simple projects and ensuring that projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters; negotiates changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines.
- Prepares and monitors teams and project costs to serve to manage spending within budgets.
- Work together with teams responsible for NPI, Quality, Brand Marketing, Engineering, Factory to meet objectives and ensure delivery of projects.
- Establish, lead, and motivate cross-functional teams as necessary to successfully deliver projects and drive and support collaboration within and across teams, functions, and end-markets.
- Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with Commercial business partners and the NPI Community including Product and Packaging Development, SCIP, Quality, Factory & Regional NPI.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE
- Fluent English (verbal and written), strong knowledge of any ERP systems and MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical skills, details oriented and good business sense.
- Ability to communicate clearly and calmly even under high workload situations.
- Ability to create and maintain productive, positive internal and external relationships through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and reliable team player who acts in the best interest of the department and company as a whole.
- Independent and takes ownership of tasks whilst displaying a skillset for troubleshooting.
- Disciplined in paperwork and records management to manage healthy, auditable projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures
BENEFICIAL

- Minimum 1 year of work experience in project lifecycle management (PLM) / data specialist/ project management e.g., new product introduction (NPI).
