British American Tobacco Italy has an exciting opportunity for a Brand Activation Horeca Channels Intern in Rome.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Define together with our external agencies the HoReCa marketing plan, involving locations aligned with our consumer target (cocktail bars, clubs, restaurants...) throughout the country, with the aim of promoting and selling our products, through hostesses and promoters on the field.
- Monitor the KPIs per location on weekly basis (product trials, sales, new consumer registration...)
- Maintain accurate records and to submit reports as requested in order to ensure effective communication with management team according to given deadlines
- Monitor the competition and collect information regarding channel’s news and opportunities
- Support the execution of engaging activations in line with the marketing goals and strategy of each brand (organisation of events, private dinners or other activations) taking care of the strategy, ensuring the achievement of KPIs and guaranteeing that the execution is in line with brand and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the plan execution
- Support the implementation of HoReCa Channel Marketing Plan in line with the Brand Strategy
What are we looking for?
- Degree in Economics, Marketing
- Analytical problem solver
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Very good organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously & setting priorities
- Previous experience in marketing is requested
- Curiosity towards the world of marketing and consumer activation and experience, inclination towards consumer needs and new trends.
- A knowledge of the HoReCa world, in Rome and/or the national territory is preferred
- Availability to travel within the national territory is required (the frequency of which will vary depending on the time of year)
